Necrodraconia

A city beneath the wings of an enormous dragon-corpse.

A loved one possessed by a monster.

The only choice is betrayal.

Necrodraconia is a static, choice-based story written for Endure My Heart - an original fiction zine that never released. The word limit was 2,500, but I still squeezed in 40+ branching sections and a simple inventory mechanic. As this was supposed to be a small part of a wider work, I've included a foreword with some background on the project.

When I applied to work on this zine, I needed to submit an example of my writing, with a limit of 1,000 words. I already knew I was going to pitch something like Necrodraconia, so I wanted to take this opportunity to prove that I knew what I was doing. To that end, I came up with The Detective's Bot, which you can also download below.
